Morris Meetings & Incentives Named to MeetingsNet’s 2022 CMI 25 List

Recognition honors the largest meeting and incentive travel companies in North America

SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Morris Meetings & Incentives announced today that it has been named to MeetingsNet’s 2022 CMI 25 list, recognizing the largest full-service meeting and incentive travel management companies focused on the U.S. corporate market.

Now in its 16th year, MeetingsNet’s annual CMI 25 report serves as a key resource for corporations seeking experienced partners in event and incentive travel management. As a group, the companies featured on the 2022 list conducted more than 56,000 corporate meetings and nearly 500 incentive travel programs in 2021, representing over 2.69 million hotel room nights worldwide.

“Of course, 2021 was a difficult year for these leading experts in bringing corporate groups together for training and education, recognition, and networking,” said Sue Hatch, Content Director for MeetingsNet. “Yet those numbers are impressive for a year when meetings, when they happened at all, were often virtual or severely scaled back. The grit and innovation of these companies during difficult times is impressive and will serve their clients well during the fast-paced return to face-to-face events we’re seeing for 2022, 2023, and beyond.”

The CMI 25 profiles include statistics on business volume (including virtual events for the first time), customer markets, and company news to give readers a clear sense of each firm’s scale, focus, and capabilities.

“The associates of Morris Meetings & Incentives are thrilled to be included on the 2022 CMI 25 list,” said Jay Klein, President of M-Plus Global Events. “We thank our team members and clients for making MMI one of the largest and best meetings and incentive travel companies in the world. Our caring customer service, attention to detail, and disciplined budget management—especially during challenging times—have produced nearly 100% client retention and fueled significant growth.”

About Morris Meetings & IncentivesFounded in 1985 as a division of Morris Air and Morris Travel, Morris Meetings & Incentives (MMI) has become a global leader in incentive travel and meeting management. MMI executes over 100 programs annually, averaging nearly 400 travelers per event, and has operated in more than 40 countries over the past five years. Clients return year after year because they see the measurable business impact and return on investment that well-designed incentive programs deliver.

Following the acquisition of A-Plus Meetings & Incentives, Columbus Travel, and other strategic investments, MMI formed M-Plus Global Events, expanding its reach and introducing new technologies to enhance client experience and reduce costs.

The MeetingsNet editors selected the 2022 CMI 25 companies based on the number of meetings and incentive travel programs managed in 2021, total room nights represented by those events, and—for the first time—the number of virtual and hybrid meetings executed. Additional factors included company size, full-time staff, and the percentage of annual revenue generated from corporate meetings and incentives.

The full 2022 CMI 25 list is featured in the September/October 2022 digital edition of MeetingsNet and available online at www.meetingsnet.com.
