FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SALT LAKE CITY, UT | Award-winning event professional Rob Bezdjian is the new director of growth and revenue operations at Morris Meetings & Incentives. Bezdjian returns to MMI after successfully running his own experiential and corporate event company, Zaven Global, for nine years.
In his new role, Bezdjian aims to harness his experience and innovative strategies to build upon Morris’ strong foundation serving elite organizations, including Fortune 500 companies. Bezdjian believes in partnerships, not clients, and will bring win-win solutions that enhance company events and MMI’s foothold in the industry.
He takes the role as meetings and incentives are increasingly viewed as an integral part of brand and marketing campaigns. “Events are no longer standalone entities but rather the most visible and profitable extensions of a company’s strategic messaging,” said Bezdjian. “Savvy companies who understand the intersection of experiences and marketing are the ones who will thrive in today’s marketplace.”
In achieving industry recognition as a Connect 40 Under 40, Bezdjian has long taken an approach of utilizing memorable experiences (ie. “brandcations”) to increase brand loyalty and increase revenue. Bezdjian is adept at AI tools to increase efficiencies and can integrate systems in a way SaaS programs have yet to deliver.
Bezdjian said he returned to Morris Meetings & Incentives because it provides one stop solutions in-house that companies have been seeking for years. The blend of human touch and first-hand experience with emerging technology is what sets MMI apart, noted Bezdjian.
MMI is what the meetings & incentives industry keeps trying to recreate with tech: a truly integrated delivery platform—program design, sourcing, air, registration, on-site operations, logistics, and global partner relationships—under one roof, at scale, backed by 50+ years of trust.
Added MMI President Corey Crowell: “We’re thrilled to welcome Rob back to MMI. He understands our clients and our business inside and out, and his entrepreneurial mindset will help us accelerate growth while maintaining the high-touch, end-to-end service that defines MMI.”
Bezdjian is available for interviews to discuss his new role and how AI can unlock event technology’s potential to better serve clients. He can be reached here.
MMI, the incentives flagship of M-Plus, and its affiliated M-Plus Global Events division were named to Skift Meetings’ inaugural M&I 15, recognizing 15 U.S. companies shaping the corporate meetings and incentive travel industry.
