Eleven Years of Programs, Each One Sharper Than the Last

The Background

Some client partnerships run for a year or two. Others become something different entirely. An insurance services company ran incentive programs with Morris Meetings and Incentives (MMI) for eleven years, across destinations that included Punta Mita, Costa Rica, Pebble Beach, and Adare Manor in Ireland. Each program built on the one before it, with the same MMI team carrying institutional knowledge forward rather than rebuilding from scratch every planning cycle.

What the Partnership Delivered

Consistency was part of it, but the relationship also produced measurable financial results year over year.

  • Vendor negotiations and contract strategy generated nearly $2.3 million in documented savings since 2015, averaging around 25 percent savings per program.

  • When Adare Manor's golf course closed unexpectedly due to Ryder Cup preparations, MMI arranged a rare tournament at Killarney.

  • When the COVID pandemic threatened a significant financial commitment, MMI secured a no-cost contract exit that protected $325,000 in spend.

  • On a single Ireland program, restructuring the flight ticketing approach saved an additional $121,000.

The programs also grew in scope over time. A custom executive retreat in Dublin was added after contracts were already signed, and MMI handled currency exchange and payments across two currencies without disruption.

The Outcome

Attendee satisfaction held at 92 percent across the partnership. The savings were documented. The experiences took the company's top performers to some of the world's most recognized destinations, with the same team behind every trip.

As the client put it: "They consistently offer a trusting, transparent working environment and continue to support the goals that our company sets for each event."
